Last night was a lot of fun. Our Airport Management professor picked Lara and I up at about 1:30 in the morning to head down to Hartsfield to see some horses get loaded on a plane for shipment to Japan by NCA. We went over to the south cargo when we got there and got to go up in the cockpit of one of Cathay's 747s, which was awesome. We killed more time at radar hill, which is totally badass at night. Eventually, the 747 picking up the horses landed at around 4am and we watched them load them for about an hour or so. They said the average value of each of the horses in the shipment was over a quarter of a million dollars. We eventually headed out around 5:30 in the morning.
Work today was not quite as cool, as this guy backed his huge ass SUV into my car in the parking lot. It's really minor damage, but I got his insurance info and have a meeting with a Geico adjuster on Friday. I don't see why anyone would want a huge car in downtown Atlanta, honestly.
I've got too many papers/presentations to be working on :(
I should stop going to Ru San's so much. Or maybe I should go more. I forget how these things work.
